Aje Believe In A Home For Every Child

Strengthening the philanthropic commitment to raising both funds and awareness for this important cause, Aje on Monday 1st November launches its second Adopt Change x Aje charity tee, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Adopt Change; supporting permanent, nurturing and safe homes for every child in Australia.

Currently, there are nearly 46,000 vulnerable children living in and out of home care in Australia, and with the support of Adopt Change, these young children are given the greatest chance to physically, mentally and emotionally realise their full potential

.

IIn alignment with the Aje Aware pledge to maximise the fashion house’s positive impact on humanity, Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris together with Adopt Change Ambassadors, are personally committed to this important cause and have made the pledge that they believe in #AHomeForEveryChild.

This year, the fashion house is asking their commuinty to support this cause with the debut of a limited-edition unisex t-shirt in both black and white, emboldened with the classic Aje logo and Adopt Change’s key message ‘A Home For Every Child’, with all proceeds going to Adopt Change.

To date, Aje have raised $28,000 for children in need, enabling Adopt Change to provide further support resources, training, education and programs to support and educate families and communities caring for displaced children.

Aje CEO, Adrian Norris said, ‘We are proud of the awareness Aje has raised in support of Adopt Change last year, but there is still so much work to be done. Families are created in so many different ways, my Grandfather was adopted, Edwina and I are unwavering in our support of nurturing Australian children in need and supporting all types of family structures.’

Creative Director, Edwina Forst said, ‘The Aje tee is such a well-loved, icon of our brand and through this partnership, our intention is to raise proceeds and bring visibility to this cause we care so deeply about. Every child deserves a loving home and start to life.’

Founded by Deborra-lee Furness, Adopt Change is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to support and educate families and communities in caring for displaced children (including those in foster care or orphaned) to achieve our shared vision of a world where all children grow, learn, play and thrive in a safe, nurturing and stable environment.

Renée Carter, CEO of Adopt Change said “At Adopt Change we are working towards a world where every child can grow up in a home where they are cared for and can thrive. We thank Aje for their generous support and raising awareness during our campaign month through this collaboration”

To show support across socials and help raise awareness, Aje is encouraging their community to make the pledge that they believe in a #AHomeForEveryChild, by sharing the limited-edition t-shirts and tagging #AHomeForEveryChild #AjeWorld #AdoptChange.
